Corn Mazes and Pumpkin Patches:
The Farmstead : Open late September through November 1.
Located just off I-84 at the corner of Eagle Road and Overland Rood Features a corn maze and pumpkin festival, Farmstead offers a variety of activities for all ages. Check out their calendar of event, group rates, times of operation and educational opportunities at The Farmstead.
Linder Farms: Open late September through November 1
Located on South Linder Road 1 mile west of Highway 69 (Kuna/Meridian Highway) between Lake Hazel and Columbia Roads (look for the Big Red Barn). It feature a 20 acre pumpkin patch and 15 acre corn maze and includes a straw bale maze for the little ones, hayrides, petting zoo, pumpkin slingshot, zip line, and for the teen (and terror lovers)—the Trail of Terror and Zombie Acres. Fall Color: Approximately mid September to early October
Boise River Green Belt: Enjoy a leisurely bike ride or walk all on the Boise River Greenbelt which winds its way through 25 miles of prime riparian habitat and majestic , towering trees. Stop and enjoy a wide variety of wildlife. Don’t forget the binoculars! Nesting boxes installed by the Boise State Biology Department attracts many native bird species. Bald Eagles are often seen in the area during migration. You may even spot some very camouflaged Western Screech Owls or Peregrine falcons that are nesting on the building in the area.
